The Flying Scot is the ideal sailboat for Moriches Bay. At 19 feet, she can comfortably fit four adults passengers but can still go almost anywhere in our shallow bay. We use our Flying Scot for beginner sailing lessons and all sunset cruises and Sail, Swim & Beach Days. It allows for instruction for beginners with both instructor and student in the boat together. Our Flying Scot is docked at Silly Lily Fishing Station in East Moriches.

The Sunfish is a timeless classic. Its simple design makes it an ideal boat to learn how to sail on your own. We use our sunfish for adults who are ready to make the leap to sailing alone after doing lessons aboard our Flying Scot. The Sunfish is a great first boat for students who are interested in purchasing their own sailboat. 

The Optimist, or Opti as it is more commonly known, is 8 feet long and designed for children to sail alone. We use the Opti for children who already know how to sail, or for beginners after they have spent time on a Sunfish or Flying Scot with an instructor.

Our 2002 Eastern Hard Top is a perfect boat to explore Moriches Bay. It's wide and open stern allows for plenty of space, and her shallow draft allows us to go almost anywhere in our shallow bay. Our Eastern fits up to four adults comfortable, or six people if it is a mix of kids and adults. We use our Eastern for all motor boat charters and dinner cruises. She's was repowered with a quiet 200hp Yamaha Four Stroke in 2022.

We use our 130 Sport Boston Whaler for all of our motor boat lessons and to coach from during advanced sailing lessons, while the student is sailing in a Sunfish or Opti. Boston Whaler is a very well known brand for good reason. It makes the perfect boat to learn on, even if you're planning to buy a bigger boat! Our Boston Whaler is powered with a 40hp Yamaha Four Stroke, and we hope to repower it with an electric outboard soon!
